Literary scholar and educator whose work focuses on African American literature, Black intellectual traditions, and cultural history. A Howard University Ph.D. candidate, Tate’s scholarship explores how Black writers, texts, and narratives shape our understanding of identity, memory, and the Black experience. She brings both academic rigor and a deep appreciation for the power of literature to illuminate overlooked stories and expand cultural understanding.
