Linda Mercado Greene is the Owner, Board Chair, and CEO of Anacostia Organics, the first medical cannabis dispensary located east of the river in Historic Anacostia in Washington, DC, becoming one of the very few 100 percent Black woman-owned licensees in the U.S.
She is also the Founder and CEO of The Linda Greene Group, a public relations/public strategies firm. Considered a Washington insider, she has been very influential in shaping the cannabis industry, locally and nationally. Linda chairs the DC Cannabis Trade Association and also chairs the Cannabis Trade Federation’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force.
She is the host of the only government-funded Cannabis Conversations Podcast with Linda Mercado Greene. Ms. Greene is a two-term Mayoral appointee on the Historic Preservation Review Board and serves on many local and national boards. She has been a political consultant to members of Congress, African Heads of State, and has served as a publicist for national entertainers.
