Muriel Hairston-Cooper is the director of Cultivation, Stakeholder Engagement, and Donor Services at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. Her portfolio includes constructing relationships with congressional leaders, CEOs, and organizations around public policy, equity, and civic engagement; directing communications and public affairs; managing programs; creating and coordinating special events; compiling budgetary aspects of national conferences; and cultivating philanthropic partnerships.
She has served as an organizational spokesperson and a leader in executing several initiatives that have expanded organizational visibility, increased revenue growth, built brand loyalty, and displayed product value to diverse audiences.
Muriel is a certified project manager. She is a Cum-Laude graduate of both the American and Howard Universities, and has earned a certificate of completion on a lecture series from the Fudan University School of Economics in Shanghai, China.
